Bringing in the New Year, my boyfriend and I have decided to really kick things into gear. We have always been a "fit" couple, but this year we want to make more progress and see more changes! I can't tell you how thankful I am to have Brad in my life. Not only as a boyfriend, but as a best friend, guider, provider, lover, supporter, and swole mate. Throughout this fitness journey of ours, we are continuously pushing one another to do bigger and better things. If I'm burned out from a long day of work and don't have the motivation to work out, he pushes me and reminds me what the ultimate goal is. For us to not only look "fit," but BE fit, and LIVE a fit and healthy lifestyle. Does this mean we have cheat meals once in awhile, and a little too much ice cream? ABSOLUTELY! But we also keep each other balanced with our day to day diet and workout routines.
Starting the first of February, we are going to be taking month to month progress pictures as motivation for us to make a change to our bodies. This will not only give us motivation, but will give us something to look back on to see our progression. We eat pretty healthy as it is, but sometimes we let things get a little out of control, i.e. ice cream and Oreos. Brad has recently started using the app MyFitness Pal, which I have used in the past as well, and for Christmas, Brad got me a Fitbit which I'm using regularly. These tools will help us along our fitness journey, and help keep track of a proper diet and exercise.
I cannot wait to put this into full affect come February! And I most definitely cannot wait to do it with the love of my life by my side! Together we can do great things, and I cant wait to keep everyone, including my #FitFam informed and with us on this incredible journey to come!
